Super Reborn Chogokin (SRC) from Saiyodo (not to be confused with Kaiyodo). Got ‘em real cheap. They’re the Ultraman equivalent to the Super Imaginative Chogokin (SIC) line.
They look like awesome sauce poured atop of coolness rice with plenty of smexy meat cubes tossed in for a nice, satisfying meal of plasticrack. Except Ultraman B (the smooth looking one) who has pointy elf shoes. Luckily, he can steal Ultraman A’s extra pair of normal feet. Like SIC, these Ultramen are stylized with their musculature showing and such forth, but they’re not over stylized to the point of appearing as hideous alien monsters as is the case with SIC. Also, these guys have glow in the dark eyes!

Plenty of points of articulation with decent range, but like SIC, these guys have extremely fragile joints. The knees on mine broke right out the box. Alas, I suck. Despite the relatively large joints, my application of super glue was sloppy and as a result, though I’ve reattached their knees, they can no longer bend. Fortunately, Ultraman’s signature poses mostly involve the upper body, also, these guys are pretty well balanced on their big ol’ feet. So it’s not as bad as it could have been.

2 extra pairs of hands for each figure, as well as an extra pair of feet for each.

I have no regrets getting these guys. And because I got them at a steal, their now inarticulate knees don’t bother me so much. They can still strike most of their signature poses (except for the all important battle stance) and they look fan-freaking-tastic anyway. I just consider them to be like those static Ultraman figurines. But I wouldn’t recommend getting them unless you can score them at a great price like I did. The potential for breakage is just too great.
Pros: Looks great with pretty good articulation.
Cons: Extremely fragile and breakable, paying original retail price or higher is not recommended.
