Hyper Velocity Ironman vs Momotaros

Let’s have some commentary! Not too much though. Hasbro’s Ironman II Hyper Velocity Ironman on the left, and Bandai’s Motion Revive Series Momotaros on the right.

Face off!

Momotaros comes in with a clinch and immediately follows up with a Muay Thai Knee.

Momo grabs the bent over Ironman. Is he going to force Ironman down on the ground for some ground and pound?

No! It was a Powerbomb! Just look at the angle! Right on the head and neck! And Momo never released, he drove Ironman down with the full force of his body!

Hmm? What’s this? Mk I?

Eek! Interference, how cliché.

I’ve got to voice my support for hypervelocity here. I’ve got him and the armours from the first movie so far. I bought him because he looked cool, but genuinely expected him to be overshadowed by the mark III, but he’s become my primary iron man.

Seems that like the transformers movie lines, the best figures are the ones that are unique, rather than those that are trying to translate an existing design into plastic.
